It would be a disservice to course participants to only use an online platform as our courses are very hands-on and collaborative with participants working directly with and examining other participants. Lecture and video links do not offer the same degree of clinical skill application.

Why are these courses only open to limited professionals?

Diagnosis and treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders is not a profession but a designated scope of practice for licensed professionals. Primary education (post-secondary and graduate) and clinical practice background is a requirement.

Complaint Resolution Process
Should any Make The Connection learner/user have any complaint or criticism of the process involved in purchasing a course or courses, use of the website, quality of the course or examination, they may lodge a complaint directly to Make the Connection by:

• sending an email at any time in their participant experience, describing the nature of the problem/criticism
• describe the problem difficulty, criticism in the evaluation or course content summary completed at the end of the course

A response will ensue with 7 days of receipt in which the user will be communicated with fairly, emphasizing a high priority to customer satisfaction and provided correction if needed.
Special Needs Accommodations

Cancellation Refund Policy
Any cancellation 30 days prior to first day of course will result in return fee of $500, which covers the cost of course materials and supplies. Merchant charges will apply.

After 30 day period, funds may be credited towards a future Make the Connection course with special arraignments at the discretion of instructors.
